It depends on the type of session you're booking!

🌿 Outdoor portraits (like maternity, family, or couples) are usually scheduled during golden hour — about one hour before sunset — when the light is soft, warm, and absolutely magical for photos.

👶 Newborn sessions are typically done in the morning, when babies tend to be the sleepiest and most content.

🏡 Studio sessions are usually scheduled in the late morning or early afternoon, depending on natural light and your family's rhythm. I keep things calm, cozy, and as relaxed as possible.

🎂 Cake smash sessions work best after breakfast and before that first nap, when your little one is happiest and most cooperative. We want smiles and cake-covered toes, not meltdowns. Every baby is different, so if this is not the best schedule that works for them we can totally discuss other time windows.

Within a week of our session I'll send over your proof gallery. Once you let me know of your favorites the average is 3-4 weeks. Sometimes I’m able to deliver your final gallery within a week. Other times, it may take the full 3-4 weeks. It really just depends on life.

First and foremost, I’m a stay at home mom. Being present with my two little boys will always be my top priority. On top of that, I pour an incredible amount of time and detail into your photos — I want you to love every single image you receive. I don’t rush through editing, I don't use an editing service, I hand edit every single image, and I promise the final result is worth the wait. 🤍

You’ll receive a sneak peek in your your proof gallery within a week of your session. After that, I won’t be sending constant updates as I work — but don’t worry, your full gallery delivery timeline is clearly outlined in both your contract and right here on my website.

If you're looking for super quick turnaround times or frequent check-ins, I might not be the right photographer for you — and that’s totally okay! You deserve to find the perfect fit for your needs, just like I strive to work with clients who trust my process and respect my boundaries. I say this with nothing but love and appreciation.

Totally normal and totally okay! I work at a kid friendly pace, and I’m a mama too — I get it. We’ll still get beautiful images, even if your toddler is running in circles (or throwing leaves in your face — true story!). In the off chance they're just not having it, we can try a different day when they're in a better mood. I do not charge rescheduling fees in this circumstance.

The duration of a photo session varies depending on the type and scope of the project. Portrait sessions typically range from 30-90 minutes, while events and weddings can span several hours.

We’ll reschedule! I keep an eye on the forecast and will reach out ahead of time if the weather looks questionable. Your session fee will transfer to the new date.

Absolutely. I believe everyone deserves to capture these special moments, and I’m more than happy to work with your budget through a custom payment plan. If payment plan is not completed before session, we will still have our session, but proof gallery will not be released until payment plan is completed.
